Trikhymaerax, face the thing that should not be

Shadowflame Shard has gotten their gargantuan. It is a fantastic model. However, It must have been a fantastic party with a open bar, when it was decided to give a model with 50 boxes rapid healing. So who and how do we deal with the hangover from a bunch of drunk designers? Can the Motherland actually do anything or do we need to look at some of our allies to deal with this menace?

A year of playing Winter Guard Kommand

It has been around a year since I decided to focus on Winter Guard Kommand and try to actually figure our how it works. I have played basically two different lists. One Stalingrad-style list under Irusk2 and one Gun Carriage based list under Vlad1 (in addition to a few variations of the themes). I think it is about time to evaluated how Winter Guard Kommand has worked, what is good and bad, and what I have learned.

Today's tip: How do I know which unit this random Winter Guard belongs to?

There are currently more that 50 Winter Guard models on the table when Irusk commands his WGK list. This is a well and good during deployment, and perhaps during the first turn. But what to do later on when the table is a complete mess of Winter Guards from six different unit all mixed up? I have opted for coloured base markings, here is how and why.

Today's tip: Weapon Crew escaping from annoying opponent

A friend of my gave me a brilliant tip the other day. Our marvellous knockdown on a stick, the Field Gun tends to be engaged by my opponents to avoid the knockdown issue. My fellow Kadorian pointed out that there is a rather cool way of getting out of the engagement.
