Mercenaries Gallery

Sometimes I get tiered of painting red, and I feel an urge to paint green. That results in Mercenaries. Here is a gallery of them ordered into the following groups (where I remember I have also included the recipe):

Metal Cape Bronze metal
  1. Base coat using Vallejo Natural Steel.
  2. Wash using GW Nuln Oil.
  3. Back up to Vallejo Natural Steel.
  4. Wash using GW Agrax Earthshade.
  5. Back up to Vallejo Natural Steel.
  1. Base coat using GW Goblin Green.
  2. Wash using GW Agrax Earthshade.
  3. Back up to GW Goblin Green.
  4. Highlight using GW Scorpion Green.
  5. Highlight using GW Sunburst Yellow.
  6. Several washes using Vallejo 72.089 Green Ink diluted about 1:7.
  1. Base coat using Vallejo Bronze.
  2. Wash using GW Agrax Earthshade.
  3. Back up to Vallejo Bronze.

Leather Skin

  4. Highlighted using GW Bronzed Flesh.
  5. Final wash using GW Seraphim Sepia.
  1. Base coat using a Vallejo skin colour (missing the exact name).
  2. Wash using GW Reikland Fleshshade.
  3. Highlight back up to the Vallejo skin colour.
  4. Highlight using Vallejo Light Flesh.
  5. Wash using GW Seraphim Sepia.


Warjacks

The general recipe for my Mercenaries Warjacks:

Metal Green armour
  1. Base coat using Vallejo Natural Steel.
  2. Wash using GW Nuln Oil.
  3. Back up to Vallejo Natural Steel.
  4. Wash using GW Agrax Earthshade.
  5. Back up to Vallejo Natural Steel.
  6. Wash here and there using GW Reikland Fleshshade.
  7. The club was washed using Vallejo 72.088 Blue Ink.
  1. Base coat using GW Goblin Green.
  2. Wash using GW Agrax Earthshade.
  3. Back up to GW Goblin Green.
  4. Highlight using GW Scorpion Green.
  5. Highlight using GW Sunburst Yellow.
  6. Several washes using Vallejo 72.089 Green Ink diluted about 1:7.
  7. A bit of black lining using GW Nuln Oil.
Wood Bronze metal
