The Motherland at the WTC - third time's a charm? (day 2)

This is the third time in a row the Motherland goes to WTC. This year it is in Düsseldorf. Mark IV is now a real thing, compared to last year where it was very much in transition. So, I'm finally brining two proper Winter Korps lists. I'm bringing Tatiana, with all the Man-O-Wars and Baranova with a Mastodon. This is the second day of action. The first day went far over expectation. So, let's see how day two proceeds.

This is the third time in a row I go to the WTC. This year it is in Düsseldorf. Mark IV is now a real thing, compared to last year when it was in transition. So, I'm finally brining two proper Winter Korps lists. I'm bringing Tatiana, with all the Man-O-Wars and Baranova with a Mastodon. Based on previous experience, it is going to be a blast. Not only will  I get to play a lot of really nice people, I was also be taught a lesson or two on how you actually play Warmachine. 

Kommander Tatiana Sikora vs. Lord Exhumator Scaverous

Cryx is at it again. After their loss by Skarre, Scaverous is send to the shores of Khador to wreck havoc. The Empress dispatches Kommander Sikor and her Man-O-Wars once againg to deal with the Cryx menace. This Cryx detachment consists of all lot of ghostwalking banes. It is a close one. Yet, all of this ghostwalking becomes troublesome for Tatiana.

 

Kommander Tatiana Sikora vs. Mechanik Adept Sparkhammer

Cygnar is on the move again. Probably encouraged by Madison Calder's success at the last crossroad. This time they are sending their Cadre 'caster Sparkhammer — and what a hammer it is. Tatiana is dispatched again to make up for her past mistakes. She is again bringing her Man-O-Wars. She does a pretty good job until the last second where a 'jack breaks through and ends the game.

Kommander Tatiana Sikora vs. Pirate Queen Skarre

The remains of the pirate kingdom of Cryx is still stirring. Skarre, the pirate queen is moving into Khador territory. She is escorted with all the girls with long spiky chains. Obviously, the Empress will not stand for such insolence. Tatiana is sent to defend the coast along with a detachment of the newest Man-O-Wars. The battle is fast and furious. Yet, the rampaging pirates is no match for Khadorian steel.

 

Kommander Tatiana Sikora vs. Captain Madison Calder

Apparently, the new shiny version of Cygnar is not sufficiently preoccupied with the Orgoth invasion. They are back to their old tricks of invading the Empress' rightful domain. Captain Madison Calder is leading the army. For the first time, Kommander Tatiana Sikora is dispatched along the new Man-O-Wars to intercept her. It could have gone both ways. However, Calder comes out on top.
